I seem to say: It's been a while at the beginning of every blog post!
Another year has gone by, and the day-to-day running of my cosy little shop seems to take all my time. Days merge into weeks, weeks into months and here we are again….. oh and we got a puppy!!

This Spring I am focusing on colour and textures. Today my new hand dyed yarns from Wild Atlantic Yarns have arrived and they are truly inspiring. But this Spring many other delightful yarns, embroidery threads and fabrics have arrived and I am also lucky enough to have some amazing books and yarns from Marie Wallin, and of course, I also have many handmade artworks and dress patterns by Merchant and Mills and The Assembly line for you to create your own effortlessly chic wardrobe for Spring and into Summer.

With the arrival of Spring, I am constantly updating my Workshops and if you are lucky enough to live in Devon, you can join us and learn a new skill or develop your existing skills and techniques. If you live further away, I am now offering one day workshops on Sundays and you can find all the relevant information and book online here.
Remember, I am based in Topsham, a town steeped in history with the most amazing views across the estuary, as well as a range of pubs and cafes, independent shops and a Museum. It really is worth a mini break and, trust me, the walks and cycle routes will keep the whole family happy.

This Spring I would also like to welcome Karen Walshe who is going to offer Patchwork and Quilting workshops. Her workshops will focus on making something special that you will be able to treasure or make as a gift.
I am also offering a colour work and embroidery workshop which is one of the most versatile techniques to learn. You will be able to apply these skills to embellish or repair of a jumper or, like many Japanese embroiders, create something delicate based on your chosen theme and I have many inspiring books in stock for you to choose.
